It includes conservation works in the female penitentiary centre consisting of: paving and asphalting of 5,697 m2 of roads and yards; replacement of 4.229 m2 of roofs; repairing and painting 48,031.57 m2 of outdoor and indoor walls and roofs; changing 2,373.80 m2 of floor tiles and; the infirmary’s conservation by its remodelling.
It consists of the remodelling of 2 floors (647,65 m2) from the maternity section including the dormitories for the mothers and children. The building of a 3rd floor (404,72 m2) to have offices where to give the interns professional attention in the unit. This penitentiary centre belongs to the Gendarmery of Chile and is located in Capitán Prat #20, comuna de San Joaquín.
The project covers the construction of a 1.544 m2 building. It includes a 98,22 m2 administration office, 263,17 m2 of workshop area, a 48,13 m2 clinic, and a 156,81 m2 kitchen. It will provide rehabilitation to women who are addicted to alcohol and drugs with the objective of achieving their social integration. This will be done following the normative procedures in the proper spaces like recreational, administrative and service spaces.
It will extend to four cubicles for multipurpose attention. A zinc cover will be changed in all the building, as well as the one on the central yard for 140 m2, improvement of the electricity system, building of new bathrooms on the second floor, adapting a handicap’s bathroom, changing of the wooden stairs for metallic ones, elevator equipment for handicap people, improvement of the kitchen equipment and addition of fifteen computers and a laser printer for the info-centre.
