Metropolis collaborates with the European Union through different programs financed by its executive body, the European Commission. Metropolis participates in projects coordinated for the EU Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development (DG DEVCO), the EU Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD), and the EU Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME).
