The successful implementation of complex environmental programs in cities and metropolitan areas worldwide strongly depends upon a comprehensive communication strategy to involve stakeholders from different fields of society. The platform use.metropolis.org provides access to various case studies on sustainable urban development and experienced urban professionals around the globe. At this event, experts from the use community will discuss the processes of stakeholder engagement in complex environmental decision making thus giving insights into her work. Case studies from different urban contexts worldwide will present different successful solutions and illustrate how the use-platform can practically support sustainable urban development at the local scale.
