On December 28 and 29, Tehran will convene The Seventh International Festival of Research and Innovation and the Scientific Conference on Urban Management, including the ceremony of the Tehran International Award, aimed at analyzing and promoting the status of research and innovation in the macro planning and thanking superior researchers in the field of urban management. These events are in line with the initiatives led by the Mayor Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf to showcase Tehran as a world class city and center of knowledge, international scientific achievements and urban experiences.
The objective of the festival is to pave the ground for commemorating the high position of intellectuals and elites, identify and promote urban management scientific methods, strengthen the theoretical research frameworks and international scientific achievements and urban experiences, create interaction and scientific collaboration between researchers, and also develop international research cooperation.
City and Life style, Society-Culture and Urban Communication, Iranian-Islamic City, sustainable urban environment, government-governance and urban economics, urbanization and urban space planning and infrastructure, and urban services are the seven axes of the events.
