Seoul Smart City Prize 2025 – A Global Call for Inclusive Innovation
Metropolis member city Seoul, in collaboration with WeGO – the World Smart Sustainable Cities Organization, proudly presents the Seoul Smart City Prize 2025.
This prestigious international award honors initiatives that drive people-centered digital transformation and promote inclusive, tech-powered urban development. The application period is open now and closes on May 30, 2025.
Now open for submissions, the Seoul Smart City Prize celebrates projects that demonstrate how technology can be harnessed not only for efficiency, but to improve the quality of life—particularly for vulnerable and underserved communities. In an era shaped by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the Prize calls on urban leaders to redefine what it means to be a “smart city”: one that centers equity, accessibility, and human well-being alongside innovation.
Local governments, institutions, businesses, and civic leaders from around the world are invited to apply. The 2025 edition features two categories: Tech-InnovaCity and Human-CentriCity, reflecting a commitment to both technological advancement and inclusive development.
Winning projects will be recognized on an international stage, gaining visibility, credibility, and valuable opportunities for global collaboration and knowledge exchange.
