Surplus Food Network - Pilot Project Final Workshop

Representatives from Medellín and Quito will travel to New Taipei City to participate in the final workshop of the Surplus Food Project. The Taiwanese city will continue to present developments in its program to cut food waste, which involves citizen training and initiatives at all levels of food distribution, from retail to storage to transportation and finally consumption. The aim is for the savings in waste to be redirected towards those in need, thus tackling food insecurity.
