Metropolitan Planning and Climate Crisis

The event intends to approach the challenges and advances of metropolitan planning, from global references to the local context. This theme is included in the context of World Metropolis Day and seeks a debate on urban and climate resilience actions, considering public functions of common interest and problems that go beyond administrative boundaries. It will be relevant to focus on metropolitan planning in pandemic scenarios and how the Metropolis Statute can contribute to this collaborative management scenario for more equitable, resilient and prosperous metropolises.
