METHER_METropolitan HERitage Caring Metropolises - ESR Forum for World Metropolitan Day

From Metropolis and Un-Habitat's call to action for World Metropolitan Day 2021, Politecnico di Milano_Polo Territoriale Piacenza, ESR Forum and Heritopolis Networks propose the dialogue “METropolitan HERitage Caring Metropolises - ESR Forum for World Metropolitan Day”. The seminar to be held on 5 October, focuses on the international and multidisciplinary contextualization of information related to new Metropolitan Heritage’s spaces for caring Metropolises. Reading city's heritage spaces could reveal spatial values of Caring that are essential to bring about change and ensure prosperity and sustainability for all inhabitants of the Metropolis that is now called upon to respond to the urgent needs of long-term planning and design perspectives for all, to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis. The aim is to provide a synthesis of vivid knowledge of physical space through a new spatio-temporal perception of metropolitan heritage’s context according to the Early Stage Researchers’ knowledge to action tools with spatial, social and governance learning approaches.  The aim is to find out how it is possible to develop and improve shareable knowledge to action for education and management skills of metropolitan Heritage’s spaces as stem cells into which to graft project operations through space practice for spatial justice, democracy and inventive resiliency, from practitioners and researchers’ experience.
