Within the framework of UCLG’s 2022 Retreat, Mr. Octavi de la Varga, Metropolis Secretary General met with Dr. Hamidreza Gholamzadeh, Tehran Deputy Mayor for International Affairs and Ms. Roya Khosrobeigi, Head of Professional & International Organizations Section. The cooperation between Metropolis and Teheran was discussed with the aim of increasing the participation and engagement of Teheran in Metropolis’ activities. The possibility of organising some activities or events linked to the thematic of Teheran’s co-presidency: Architecture and urban regeneration, was also analysed.
