The meeting’s objective is to debate the international strategies of metropolitan governments as it pertains to public policy and how it is designed and implemented with the collaboration of the various local social and economic actors.
First, an open conference will be held where CIDOB will present its study on "International strategies in metropolitan areas. Practical cases: Durban, Medellín, Montreal, Seoul and Vienna." This will be followed by a round table where international multidisciplinary experts will discuss the five case studies presented and formulate recommendations for the AMB. Finally, there will be a round of debate open to the public.
