the Institute of Town Planners, India (ITPI) established in 1951, is the apex body of qualified town and country planners in the country, and is also member of Commonwealth Association of Planners (CAP). ITPI is committed to promote and advance town and country planning education, and also to foster town and country planning profession. Accordingly, the ITPI conducts a number of academic activities including organization of the annual National Town and Country Planner’s Congress on a topic of national interest.
This year the ITPI in collaboration with other institutions would be organizing an International Conference on “Future of Cities: Opportunities and Challenges”, to be held on 27-28 July 2017 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, India. The conference has two plenary sessions as given below:
