The Habitat III Thematic Meeting “Financing Urban Development: the millennium challenge" involves a wide range of participants that will debate priorities for the New Urban Agenda and policy recommendations in the form of a final participants' declaration.

The meeting has an international scope and will address issues of strategic consideration on specific and relevant topics for the New Urban Agenda and the final declaration from the Habitat III Thematic Meeting will be considered official input to the Habitat III process.
