Fostering Sustainable Cities: Urban Management in Asia and Europe

Asia Innova is the main program of Casa Asia focus on innovation and technological cooperation with Asia. It is organized with the support of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia City Councils, and with the collaboration of Metropolis who is Knowledge Partner.

Following the success of the Asia Innova edition celebrated in 2017, the program maintains the objective of consolidating the relations and exchange of experiences with Asian cities.

During these days, representatives of 8 Asian cities previously chosen will participate in workshops, open activities and technical visits in the frame of the program, in order to identify the opportunities of “city-to-city” cooperation with Spanish cities in areas that include urban innovation, sustainability and economic development.

Metropolis will facilitates the participation of experts from our Asian members, fostering encounters with relevant stakeholders from the public and private sector.
