The 8th annual World Cities Summit Mayors Forum will be held in the City of Suzhou, China,from 17th to 20th May 2017. The city of Suzhou is also the third Laureate of the Lee Kuan Yew WorldCity Prize. Organised by the Singapore government, the Mayors Forum is a flagship event of the biennialWorld Cities Summit. It is an exclusive, by-invitation-only global platform for city leaders to discusspressing urban challenges and share best practices. Since its inauguration in Singapore in 2010, ithas been attended by more than 250 cities worldwide and well-supported by leaders from the privatesector, academia, international organisations and foundations.

The Forum will be guided by the theme “Liveable & Sustainable Cities: Embracing the Futurethrough Innovation and Collaboration”. Through the Forum, city leaders will be able to share theirexperiences in tackling urban challenges through technology and policy innovations, while co-creatingsolutions with businesses and citizens.
