The first day of the METROPOLIS 2015 Annual Meeting in Buenos Aires concludes with the dynamic "Connecting the dots" session that aims to foster collaboration among key actors, sections and cities of our association. In this session, which was attended by over 50 representatives of cities and partner organizations, it has shown the multiple dimensions of the partnership, which participants have called "network of networks".

In the morning took place the workshop on "Gender mainstreaming in local policies" organized by the Metropolis Women International Network where cases of Buenos Aires, Brussels and Barcelona were showcased and proceeded to perform a dynamic between participants to work on how cities can implement gender mainstreaming and how the Women Network can contribute to gender mainstreaming  within METROPOLIS.

In parallel, the METROPOLIS Youth workshop has been characterized by its participatory dimension. In it, young people associated with the public administration of cities such as Mashhad, Berlin and Buenos Aires have been able to present their case studies related to the encouragement of the involvement of young people in the design of their city.
At noon a lunch meeting between representatives of the cities promoting initiatives has stimulated an exchange of knowledge and has been the spearhead for a more collaborative work in the future.
