NB: Please note that the activities listed below are just some of the activities aimed at fostering gender equality implemented by the Brussels Regional Public Service and by a number of public interest bodies in Brussels.
The Brussels Regional Public Service (BRPS) has a plan of action for 2014-2015, “Equal opportunities and diversity”.
As an employer, the BRPS wishes to implement an integrated approach to equal opportunities in human resources management, taking the diversity of officials into account, thereby enabling individual personal development, each person taking full advantage of their skills.
The plan of action is structured into seven areas:

I favour lowering the start of compulsory schooling to the age of three and I supported the development of extended, or community, school concept
